We're seeing high numbers of TalkTalk lines disconnected, we're investigating
We've also seen some drops on BT lines. Still investigating.
This problem is still ongoing and mainly affecting TalkTalk connected lines. Work is still in progress.
We rebooted one of our core switches and since then we have been stable. We're still monitoring.
This incident did cause our notification system to send customers multiple line up and line down emails/SMSs. We do usually rate limit these messages, but due top the nature of the fault the time between the drops was long enough not to trigger the limiting - we do apologise for all the messages that were sent!
