INFORMATION
  • INITIAL
    1¼ years ago by James

We've seen a significant proportion of BT backhaul lines drop. Most seem to have reconnected. We're investigating the cause.

  • UPDATE

It looks like one of our BT hostlinks dropped. We are still investigating.

  • UPDATE
    1¼ years ago by Andrew

Lines have reconnected. We usually have have four live interconnects to BT, across two datacentres. Two in Telehouse datacentre were already taken down early this morning in preparation for planned work that BT are doing overnight. The disruption this afternoon was caused by one of the remaining interconnects in Equinix datacenre losing it's link, it is still down at the moment. We're investigating the cause with BT.

  • UPDATE
    1¼ years ago by Andrew

As we are currently running on one of four link, we are going to bring back up the two interlinks in Telehouse so as to restore resilience. This does not normally affect service.

  • UPDATE
    1¼ years ago by Andrew

Our Telehouse interconnects are up and passing traffic. Still in contact with BT about the broken link in Equinix.

  • RESOLUTION
    1¼ years ago by James

The cause of this was a switch problem at BTs end of our link.
