We're investigating networking problems with our Maidenhead datacentre. This will be affecting hosted services and access to some of our services such as VoIP and outbound email.
This is affecting more than Maidenhead, but general internet connectivity.
We've been experiencing network outages which have affected a number of services. We have taken steps to mitigate some of the traffic, but we have seen some of our LNSs restart which has caused some DSL lines to drop and reconnect. We are still investigating and we don't think the problem has gone away just yet.
Connectivity is back to normal at the moment.
We do apologise for the problems this has caused customers this morning. We'll update this post with more information later today.
Sorry for the delay providing more information. Due to the nature of the incident we prefer not to go in to too much detail publicly. Staff are willing to talk to customers who may be concerned about this, so please do get in touch. The incident lasted just over an hour and did cause various amounts of disruption. There are lessons we can learn from this incident and will be working on further improvements.
