We are performing overnight software upgrades on our BGP Routers and our "Witless" set of LNSs. The "Witless" set of LNSs carry our BT FTTP, CityFibre FTTP and some VDSL services. We will be doing one LNS per night and the work starts from 1AM. The impact that this has on customers is that it will cause lines to drop and reconnect when the LNS they are on is upgraded.
The upgrades are paused at the moment, and will continue next week.
Router upgrades will start again from tonight, which will include on of our our L2TP routers. We will be shuffling lines on the 'Witless' LNSs on the early hours of Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th April.
This is on pause (again) until next week.
This work is back under way. This week we'll be upgrading non-LNS routers overnight and is expected to have no impact on customers.
We are now starting the process of overnight LNS upgrades. We will be doing one LNS per night and the work starts from 1AM. The impact that this has on customers is that it will cause lines to drop and reconnect when the LNS they are on is set to be upgraded.
