At around 15:15 we saw a small number of CityFibre connections in the York/Lincoln area drop, and not all have reconnected. We suspect this could be storm related, but we have had no details from CityFibre as yet.
Some have reconnected. We have reported individual end-user faults to CityFibre for the remaining ones.
CityFibre have announced an incident relating to this titled 'Potential Power supply failure affecting several locations' - Their engineers are investigating.
CityFibre say: CityFibre are aware of an outage affecting multiple location across the North and Northeast of the country. CityFibre NOC are currently investigating and believe the issue to be caused by a power failure to a FEX site linking the core network.
The remaining circuits had their service restored at around 7:30PM when CityFibre restored power to one of their FEX sites. (Some non-A&A circuits took until 4AM to have service restored due to a faulty/damaged line card that needed to be replaced)
More reconnects on some circuits this morning: We've seen some line drop and reconnect between 08:45 and 9:00 which we suspect are related. We'll continue to monitor.
All circuits have been stable since 9AM.
