We had reports of packet loss this evening from 11pm through to 11:15pm - our monitoring also saw PPP reconnects on a number of lines.
We're still investigating this, it looks like some (not all) TalkTalk circuits were affected, but as yet we cannot see a common factor between the affected circuits. We have asked TalkTalk if they are aware of anything happening - usually planned work would happen in the early hours of the morning rather than late evening. We'll post an update when we have one.
TalkTalk confirmed that thus was due to 'multiple link failures caused by planned work by our carriers Transmission Network (Zayo). This work was scheduled between 22:00 and 06:00 however it was not expected to have any customer impact.' (however, it did!)
