We're investigating problems with services hosted at our Maidenhead Datacentre - this is affecting VoIP, sending email, Control Pages and some other services as well as customer servers we host.
We know of other companies with hosting in Maidenhead who are also affected. We're trying to contact the Datacentre. (They do have planned work to test their generators this evening http://status.pulsant.com/incidents/39b86yzhy09q)
Datacentre staff have confirmed that they are aware of a problem with power.
Status post from Datacentre: http://status.pulsant.com/incidents/gmf23drn4cm5
We've not got power back yet, but Datacentre staff say: 'Our DC team have identified the issue and verifying services are restored.'
The datacentre have restored some power, but it seems we are still without.
We have an engineer en-route to the DC now.
Engineer is on site, and investigating now.
Services are being restored
Service has been restored.
Power was lost at the datacentre as as result of something going wrong with low risk UPS/Generator maintenance by the datacentre.
Update 1 July: The datacentre say that whilst the UPS was disconnected for planned maintenance they incurred a coincidental loss of utility mains power, and thus power to the site was lost.
