We are aware of problems affecting our SIP2SIM service - this will be affecting calls and SMS for those using our SIP2SIM service. This may be related to problems with our carrier as there is a known problem with calls relating to Jersey Telecom but we are still investigating.
O2 are still experiencing signaling issues to some destinations including the Isle of Man. O2 continue to liaise with their upstream provider and expect the signaling issues to be resolves by 12:00.
This incident has been updated to MAJOR, as it severely affecting the SIP2SIM service and is a wider issue with the carrier's service. This is affecting o2 profile only – so not EU/roaming (Voda NL) profiles/SIMs and mobile data is still working.
NSN Updated on 13 Jul 2020 14:41 Following the traffic shaping measures put in place between O2 and BT, we are now seeing a high increase in successful registrations and data sessions on UK networks. Manx Telecom engineers are continuing to monitor traffic levels whilst we await confirmation from O2 and BT that the signaling congestion issues have been resolved.
Services have continued to remain stable following completion of work by O2 and BT.
