Summary
Network monitoring has detected that a number of FTTC customers connected to Blackburn exchange may have experienced a loss of service between 10:51hrs and 10:56hrs (28/08). Exchanges impacted by this were as follows, Blackburn, Wilpshire, Brinscall, Darwen, Mellor and Pleasington. Affected customers will have experienced a loss of their data service. Technical / Suspected Root Cause Our NOC have confirmed this incident to be a result of a backhaul flap. The affected traffic has now been rebalanced and service has been restored. The impacted VLAN is being moved to another LT by IP Access Ops to prevent this from reoccurring. This is no longer impacting customers and will now be closed. Â
