Summary It has been identified that approx. 1631 duplicate CLIs exist in various states across the estate dating back to 2007. This impacts TTB, Partner and consumer assets: Scenario 1: Approx. 52 MPF CLIs are duplicated within OSS however at least one of the assets is ceased with Openreach. Scenario 2: Approx. 97 genuine duplicated MPF CLIs where two MPF services are live on the same CLI and are currently live with Openreach. Scenario 3: Approx. 350 NGA CLIs are duplicated within OSS however at least one of the assets is ceased with Openreach and the MPF service is not duplicated. Scenario 4: Approx. 664 NGA CLIs are duplicated within OSS and live with Openreach and the MPF service is not duplicated. Scenario 5: Approx. 27 WNGA CLIs are duplicated within OSS however at least one of the assets is ceased with Openreach and the MPF service is not duplicated. Scenario 6: Approx. 31 WNGA CLIs are duplicated within OSS and live with Openreach and the MPF service is not duplicated. N/A
Technical / Suspected Root Cause It was identified that approx. 1631 duplicate CLIs for multiple products existed in various states across the estate dating back to 2007. Multiple scenarios were observed and incident raised to manage the data clean up. Business Applications, Order Management, Fulfilment, Treatment, SV, CRM and Openreach teams were engaged and completed a variety actions and activities to complete the data clean up. All genuine duplicated assets across the estate have now been corrected. A process has also been put in please to capture and correct any inflight orders at risk of becoming duplicate assets. Two design changes have been identified within OSS to prevent two customers sharing the same CLI. These solutions have been passed into the Group Change Process to be delivered. This incident will now be closed with any further root cause analysis being tracked via the problem management process. Â
