Summary
Network monitoring has identified that some, MPF and NGA customers connecting in the Sunderland North area may be experiencing total loss of data service. The affected customers will be unable to use these services for the duration of this outage. Impacted exchanges include Sunderland, Ryhope, Sunderland, Whitburn and Meadowfield. Impacted exchange codes include NESUN, NERE, NESU, NEWN and NEMEA.

Technical / Suspected Root Cause Network monitoring by the NOC identified a backhaul flap at Sunderland North, further investigation by NOC showed the backhaul had flapped for a few minutes. RFO for the flap has been requested from Openreach. Link has been stable since circuit flap. Traffic over the MPS switches has been rebalanced causing another brief outage as it would congest at peak times. This incident will now be closed. Â
