We have been informed by our supplier that they intend to carry out maintenance within their network. The purpose of this work is to carry out network development. During the maintenance window you may experience one period of outage to the maximum specified below. As this maintenance is not under the control of TalkTalk it may not be possible to reschedule it and we have provided all the information that we can.
Detailed Description of Request:
Proactive Maintenance - Fibre Diversion
This urgent planned work is required to a to divert 48 fibre cable and 96 fibre cable at Rushden due to a Road Scheme taking place shortly. Your services could be interrupted briefly twice during this work and we are endeavouring to splice tube by tube where possible in order to minimise downtime but may have to cut the whole cable(s) and splice back tube by tube.
The total service outages should only last for up to 6 hours if we need to cut the whole cable with splicing back incrementally; however an 8 hour timeframe has been given in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
Every effort will be made to minimise any disruption to your services.
