Latest Update Our Network Team have rebalanced traffic within the core. Traffic stopped maxing between the two Network Edge Routers at 13:45pm which has alleviated congestion. Planned works by GTT has an end date of 04/04/2021. We are awaiting confirmation from the Network team that there will no further congestion during peak hours. Â
Latest Update Traffic levels remain stable in the Core following traffic rebalances by our Network Team. We will place this incident on monitoring overnight to ensure there is no further congestion during peak hours. Update to following in the morning. Â
Latest Update Our engineers are presently liaising with 3rd party suppliers diagnosing the root cause of this network disruption. At this stage Incident Management are unable to issue an ERT until our engineers have completed their diagnostics. Â
Technical / Suspected Root Cause Planned works by GTT to resolve an outage on submarine cables between Dublin & Southport resulted in circuits dropping within the Core. Traffic failed over but unfortunately the path it took did not have the capacity for the extra load. Â
