IP Operations Change-ttb-dmz-sw1.nec- Switch stack swap :: CRQ000000093711
Please be advised following incident INC000100064345 there is a requirement to change the Capgemini internal switch fabric from cisco to Juniper. This is a pre-requisite for decommissioning ttb-int-fw.nec and moving it behind dc firewall cluster.
Currently there is an issue with throughput of legacy firewall ttb-int-fw.nec which is limited to 100 Meg (INC000100064345) and we cannot run an ethernet or fibre from this legacy switch stack to new DC firewall hence why we must replace the existing internal switch fabric with Juniper
Work will be perforned in the BAU change window however there may be some disruption to API access via the SOA gateway as well as portal access via https://ttbportal.mytalktalkbusiness.co.uk/ during these chnages.
