-Retrospective Incident- Fault Description: Following previous incident INC000100094192 in which the MPS-SMSX-2 to NGE001.CAM backhaul dropped, traffic failed over to MPS-SMSX-1 towards NGE001.LUT and caused LT-0/3/0 congestion. Sam Knows latency seen during peak hours each night between 20th and 29th May 8pm-10pm which may have resulted in slight degraded performance to customers built on this LT interface. -Impact Analysis- Impact Type: QOS Impacted Exchanges: SMSW,SMSFD,SMLT,SMBA Potential Number of customers Affected: B2B: NGA:3670 MFP:577 SMFP: Voice: TV: RCA and Resolution details to follow. -General Update- We have escalated this incident to IP Access Engineering to identify why we are unable to revert traffic back to its preferred path. Further information will be provided within the next update due time.
-General Update- We have requested an update from IP Access. There is no longer any service impact however the traffic failover that triggered this issue remains. Until this traffic is reverted to its default path there is a potential for further latency during peak hours. Ticket placed into pending.
