We're investigating a problem causing some lines to be reconnecting.
A config change has been reverted, lines have stopped dropping. We'll investigate the cause further this morning.
Around 200 FTTP circuits were affected by this morning's problem. Those lines were sub-set of the lines we moved on to the LNS with updated software (named, X.Witless). The lines were caught in a PPP connect/disconnect loop until we stopped steering those lines to that LNS. The cause of problem is still being investigated and a plan of action will be made later today.
A bug has been found in the LNS code which erroneously limited the number of connections that would successfully connect. This has been fixed. We will update the software on our test LNS (B.Doubtless) overnight. We'll then reschedule an upgrade of the production LNS (X.Witless) and bulk-move of customers for later in the week.
