We will be starting software upgrades on our 'Witless' LNSs from Sunday morning. This is in response to a rare bug causing problems.

To do this, we will performing an LNS 're-shuffle' starting Sunday morning, starting from 2AM affecting FTTP and some FTTC circuits. This means we will force a PPP reconnect for these circuits so that the reconnect to a different LNS.

The 'downtime' for each circuit would typically be a few seconds. The time that this happens can be chosen by customers by setting the 'LNS reset' option on our Control Pages.

We've paused this rolling upgrade for the moment as we're wanting to wait for slightly newer software.

This work is being restarted. Customers on the Witless LNSs will see an overnight drop and reconnect over the next few nights.

We have new software which will help with some recent problems we've seen. This will be applied over the next three nights.
