We have multiple interlinks to BT that carry our broadband traffic. BT have scheduled planned work on our links in our Harbour Exchange Square datacentre for 27th March between midnight and 6AM.
So as to minimise the impact on our customers, we will move traffic off these links on 25th March at 3AM. This should be seamless, but last time we attempted this BT had a misconfiguration which caused some customers to drop their connection!
Our part of this work (to move traffic) has been rescheduled for Tuesday 26th March at around 3AM.
This work has been interrupted by the major problems we saw with our BT hostlinks during the early hours of 26th March: https://aastatus.net/42648 Updates will follow later in the day, once we've head back from BT.
At 5:20 we cleanly shut down the hostlink to BT to move traffic away so as to free the link up for BT to carry out their work tomorrow.
Unfortunately BT's migration didn't go to plan and they rolled back their change. No customer circuits were affected. The work will be rescheduled for a later date.
