We're seeing problems with Zoipier and our VoIP service. Zoipier is a 3rd party soft phone that also has a service that manages calls via their own servers. We are seeing multiple registrations from the Zoipier servers. We're not yet sure of the cause or the impact this will have on our customers, but it looks like the Zoipier service is malfunctioning in some way.
We're not sure of the cause of this, we have reached out to Zoiper (via their website contact form). We don't think this is disrupting service for any of our customers - however features that Zoipier offer with with softphone, eg push notifications, may not be working if Zoipier have a problem.
We're seeing a decrease in the number of registrations from Zoipier, perhaps they are fixing things.
We are still seeing some customer VoIP accounts with hundreds of registrations from Zoiper - we'd only expect one! We have an email ticket with Zoipier, but so far they have not acknowledged a problem. We have give them more details and await a reply. The issue has gone away... Zoiper say their side was working as expected, but us seeing hundreds of registrations per account from Zoipier didn't seen expected to us!
