Our carriers are investigating outbound call failures to mobile numbers currently. They believe this to be outside of their network but will report back shortly.
Following multiple reports of outbound call failures we have established that there is a problem beyond our network to mobile numbers. We are monitoring and will provide further updates as we hear more.
Unusually, this problem is affecting both our carriers, which suggests a bigger problem upstream of them.
Vodafone and EE have confirmed issues meaning they are unable to terminate calls on their networks. We will continue to monitor and provide an update when normal service is restored.
Our carriers are reporting wider problems in the mobile network causing this problem... updates to follow.
This is the same problem being reported elsewhere in the media: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cnvmvqrnq7go https://www.techradar.com/news/live/vodafone-ee-o2-outage-july-2025
We are seeing some outbound calls to mobiles work again
The problem has returned and calls to mobiles a problematic for much of the UK - not just for our services.
Some updates are being posted to ISPReview's article here: https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2025/07/outbound-mobile-calling-problems-strike-ees-national-uk-network.html
Update from one of our carriers: Following on from the below - our monitoring appears to show that whilst the issue is not fully resolved, call stats to EE mobiles do seem to be improving. We will of course continue to observe the situation and share any updates when we receive them.
A UK-wide problem affected many calls to mobiles. Service started working during the evening of of 25th July, but problems for a small amount of people were still being reported over the weekend.
