There were several 'blips' overnight that affected some BT customers between 11PM and midnight. Service has been stable since, we are investigating the cause
We had another loss of light on one of our BT hostlinks - this time one of the links in Telehouse - a different site to that of the similar incidents last week. It is very unusual indeed to have had 3 loss of light events on three separate fibres within the space of 8 days! Thee fibres terminate on different equipment and datacentres at BT's end. This has been raised with BT and we will follow up with our account manager later this morning.
This was caused by BT planned work, which went wrong. They are planning work on the other pair of fibres on this hostink during the early hours of Thursday 20th November, but we will take this out of service beforehand.
