We saw a large number of BT connected lines drop at around 8:30PM - they are reconnecting, we are investigating. At the same time we lost link on both our Google interlinks which would have disrupted Google-related traffic for a short while.
One of our hostlinks has lost light - it remains down. Traffic has moved to our remaining links.
These two events are probably connected somehow with inter-datacentre cables (out side of A&A) having some sort of disruption.
BT and the Google links are back up and passing traffic.
We've heard from multiple other providers who also had links to Google and links to BT drop. This suggests there was a wider (short-lived) connectivity problem affecting quite a few service providers in London.
