Be lines have have have always been different to BT lines requiring different router settings, and also running at a lower MTU.

In November we will be able to order new Be lines as PPPoA. This will use the same Encapsulation (PPPoA), Mux mode (VC), VPI/VCI (0/38) and MTU (1500) as BT lines.

This will mean migrating a line from BT to Be will be easier as the router will not need to be re-configured.

At launch it won't be possible to migrate existing PPPoE Be lines to PPPoA. This will be addressed some time after launch. (no eta yet though)

There has been some delays, and we're not able to place PPPoA orders yet - it will be very soon though.

We are now a step closer to being able to offer PPPoA!

We just need to update our order process and then we can start placing orders for Be lines for PPPoA.

We are now able to process Be orders as PPPoA now. The ordering system will default to PPPoA with an option to choose PPPoE if you want. At the moment, there is no way to migrate between PPPoE and PPPoA, but can be done with a cease and re-provide.
