From BT: Engineers are currently on site removing the excess water and ensuring the building is safe to commence investigations. At this point we are estimating that it is likely to take 12 hours to fully restore service. All necessary resource is on site and our Major Incident team are managing the restoration.

Small update from BT: Engineers remain on site. A plan is in place and work is underway to attempt to restore service. We are currently at the pre-stage of this process and once completed this will enable us to provide a more accurate estimated restoration time. Gulley suckers are on site and set up in order to remove the remaining water. Spare hardware and cabling is on site and on route. Plans are also underway to ensure that the building is secure and there is no risk should there be further rain.

From BT: Engineers remain on site. Water has now been removed from the building and a clean-up is in progress. The Power team have connected cables between the distribution and rectifiers to provide a restoration method. Testing is now being carried out and once completed power will be restored to individual equipment in a staged restoration process. This staged restoration is still likely to take some time. Plans continue to ensure that the building is secure and there is no risk should there be further rain. We will provide another update in the next 2 hours.
